If Zombies had a spokesperson it would be Robert Cummings (Rob Zombie). He is a filmmaker, director and most famously the front man to the metal band White Zombie. If you have been with us for a while, you might recognize the name from somewhere else. The band took their cue from the 1932 Zombie flick of the same name.
What you’ll notice if you listen to any amount of Rob’s work is that it is heavily, heavily influenced by the Zombie aesthetic. Everything from the lyrics to the music videos simply howls undead. This is not even to mention the fact that Rob has directed several hero films, not the least of which was House of 1000 Corpses.
If you are looking for a way into the mind of someone who understands the Zombie Apocalypse better than almost anyone, curl up with a copy of Let Sleeping Corpses Lie and learn from Mr. Zombie himself.
As you might have guessed, this segment was just another to show more music video clips. It makes be feel like I am on MTV circa 1994. The video is from “American Witch” the animation is from famed Zombie artist Dave Hartman.
