Bottom line: Sandeep (of Guild fame) and Tony are funny, funny people. You would probably be better off pulling out your NES and playing through a few Zelda dungeons before diving into this one.

The Legend of Neil is a webseries produced by Atom.com, Effinfunny.com, and Comedy Central. Written by Sandeep Parikh & Tony Janning, this series follows the reluctant adventures of Neil- a gas station attendant from Jersey who gets sucked into ‘The Legend of Zelda’ and has to fight his way out.

Great costumes, B-movie special effects, fake beards, epic conflict, this is about as stylish as a comedy web series can get. (Style 5)

Pacing 4

Not too much to say here that isn’t obvious. The writing is great, the intro is hilarious, the directing is solid and I found myself wanting to see more after every episode. On top of that, it’s actually a very faithful parody of Legend of Zelda. (Storytelling 4.5)

Polish 4.5

If you haven’t played a Zelda game you will be very confused at some points, but if you can make it past that what you’re left with is an extraordinarily entertaining action/fantasy web series. (Watchability 4)
