It’s time for a field trip. Next time you are in D.C. you should try to visit the Newseum.

The Newseum [2] is the nation’s largest museum of news. It sports 250,000 square feet of galleries, theaters, retail spaces and visitor services and offers visitors a behind the scenes look at how the news is made.

If you are looking for a wider perspective on the history of how news makes it to your desk, or for a look at some of the major milestones that journalists have faced along the way then the Newseum is well worth the trip.
