ARGs are alternate reality games that have users searching their world for clues to often elaborate narratives. They are used primarily as promotional devices but have also be tested commercially (as was the case of Electronic Art’s Majestic). We want you to look into the ARG.

Here is what we want to find out:

• What is considered to be the first ARG-style game?
• What real-life politician became an “actor” in it?
• Who wrote the source material for it?
